All em.glaze Electric Opening flat glass modular rooflights, when installed on em.curbs and Timber Sloping Kerbs in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, are guaranteed for a period of ten years. For further information contact us.
Em.glaze Electric Opening units feature concealed actuators, offering a sleek and minimal look. The special actuator bracket allows the unit to be detached from inside in the event of power failure.
We offer single or tandem actuators depending on the unit size. Tandem units don't require additional control panels as the intelligent actuators communicate with each other.
em.glaze Electric Opening is available in standard RAL 7016 externally and White RAL 9016 internally.
It is compatible with our Timber Sloping Kerb which complies with new Building Regulations and is supplied pre-assembled for fast installation.
Glazing
Double glazed em.glaze modular flat glass rooflights are manufactured with 32mm hermetically sealed Low E, argon filled units as standard, with a warm edge spacer, providing a high-performance system.
Finish
The glass can be finished as Clear for highest light transmission or Opal Diffused for increased security. Solar Control and Self-Cleaning coating options are also available and can be combined if both are required.
Available options:
Upstands
em.glaze flat glass modular rooflights are designed to be used in conjunction with em.curb upstands or Timber Sloping Kerbs, and can also be installed to existing builder’s upstands. For both options we recommend that the units are installed to a pitch of between 5˚ and 15˚.
Suitable upstands:
The em.glaze Timber Sloping Kerb is ensures every em.glaze rooflight is fully compliant with Part L and B of Building Regulations, and supplied pre-assembled to reduce installation time on site.
em.collars are also compatible with this product and provide a thermally broken solution for replacing existing rooflights. They would typically be installed to an existing or newly formed builder’s upstand where the dimensions do not suit a standard sized em.glaze flat glass modular rooflight.
